Why verification matters
Egypt's real-estate market has fake listings, spoofed phone numbers, and impersonated brokers. Verification on Diarak fixes this: verified users display a blue badge, rank higher in search, and earn greater buyer trust on inquiries.
Verification types
1. Basic identity (every user)
- Live selfie photo.
- National ID scan.
- Phone number confirmed via OTP.
- Email confirmed.
2. Professional broker verification
- Brokerage practice license (where required in your governorate).
- Commercial registration (for real-estate offices).
- Tax card.
- Reference from an approved developer (optional, raises trust).
3. Ownership verification
- Ownership contract (preliminary or final).
- Power of attorney from the owner (for brokers).
- Unit delivery receipt (for handed-over units).
Review timeline
We review verification requests within 24 – 48 hours of submission. If additional documents are needed we email you.
Confidentiality of your data
- Documents are stored encrypted on a private disk not exposed to the open web.
- Visible only to the approved verification team.
- Automatically deleted 5 years after your account approval ends.
- Never shared with any third party except under a court order.
Verified account benefits
- Blue "Verified" badge next to your name and listing titles.
- Higher placement in listing results (after paid promotions).
- Access to the "Deal Partners" feature for documented commission splits.
- Access to detailed Diarak Index data.
- Higher buyer trust — inquiry response rate is ~3x higher.
How to start
Sign in, then go to Account Settings → Verifications. Upload the required documents and we review within two business days.
